Retro Antler Commercials
Classic commercials from the 60s and 70s
Antler luggage has a long legacy as being one of the best brands in British luggage. Nothing shows that more than these great retro commercials made by Antler luggage in the 1960s and 1970s. It's amazing to see commercials that old, and the footage is definitely a throwback to another time. Watching these videos, it really shows how far the company, and the industry has come.
1960s Commercial for Antler Luggage
The 1960s commercial seems to have been shown in movie theaters, which explains its longer length. It is a bit jarring to see a six minute long commercial for luggage. The video is pretty boring, as I really don't care that much to see how the suitcase was designed, but I can see this infomercial being convincing for people who don't know much about the suitcase. The footage shows a lot of different angles of the manufacturing of the luggage during the time period.
1970s Commercial for Antler Luggage
Meanwhile, the 1970s commercial is much more like what television viewers are accustomed to. The footage shows a woman doing everything she can to break the luggage, smashing it together and tossing piles to the floor. Through it all, the suitcases appear unfazed, as they are built to last. This video showcases what Antler luggage is really known for, its strong, durable designs that will keep it lasting for years to come.
